2) Schedule a Pre-Service Meeting. The next step after contacting us is to schedule a Pre-Service Meeting. We will come to your house at a time and date convenient for you so that we can meet you and your pet(s). We will get your account set up and go over the pet care contract and profile with you. There is a one time $25 account set up fee due at the pre-service meeting. If you schedule the pre-service meeting at least 7 days before you want service to start we will give you a $25 credit to your account to be used on any future service! 3) Complete the New Client Packet before the Pre-Service Meeting. Open the New Client Packet and print it out. Please completely fill in the forms and make a copy for your records if you wish. We will need the original at the pre-service meeting for our records. If you have any trouble downloading/printing the forms, please contact us and we will mail them to you prior to the meeting. *IMPORTANT* Neglecting to have the paperwork filled out BEFORE the meeting will increase the standard meeting time over the usual 30-45 minutes. We often schedule multiple new client meetings back to back. If you do not have the paperwork ready when we arrive we may have to cancel.
4) Have 2 copies of your keys ready for us. One is for day to day use and one is for emergency backup. Please test them to make sure they work if they are new copies. Keys are coded and kept in a secure location at all times. We recommended you leave your keys on file with us. If keys are left on file we also offer lock out service. (If you get locked out of your house we will come let you in). You can request your keys be returned to you at any time. If keys are not left on file then each time service is booked we will need to arrange for key pick up and return. If we have to make copies ourselves there will be a $5 charge per key made. 5) Pre-Service Meeting. At the pre-service meeting we come to your home and get to know you and your pet(s). We will go over the paperwork, pick up your 2 copies of keys and the $25 account set up fee. If you contacted us at least 7 days before service is to start, we will apply a $25 credit to your account that will go towards any future service with Comfy Creatures. You will also have a chance to review our insurance information, read original testimonials / newspaper articles, ask any questions, and go over the specifics of your pet's care. This normally takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
